Silicon Metal 551 processed by excellent industrial silicon and including full varieties. Used in electro, metallurgy and chemical industry. It is silver gray or dark gray powder with metallic luster, which be of high melting point, good heat resistance, high resistivity and superior oxidation resistance, it's called "industrial glutamate", which is an essential basic raw material in hi-tech industry. Silicon metal is usually classified according to the content of its three main impurities such as iron, aluminum and calcium. Based on the content of iron, aluminum and calcium, silicon metal can be divided into different grades such as 553, 441, 421, 3303, and 2202.
