Ferro vanadium (FeV) is obtained either by aluminothermic reduction of a mixture of vanadium oxide and scrap iron or by reduction of a vanadium-iron mixture with coal.
Ferro Vanadium is added in small quantities to microalloyed steels to increase strength. In larger quantities it is added to increase strength and heat resistance in tool steels. Besides, ferro vanadium improves the quality of the ferrous alloys and also improves its resistance to corrosion and increases the ratio of tensile strength and weight. The addition of FeV can also enhance the tensile strength of welding and casting electrodes.
Ferrovanadium products are packed in iron drums with a net weight of 100kg. If you have any special request for products and packing, please leave a message.
